Hi, I’m Sally, and I’ve been working in Mental Health Rehabilitation since 2012. After qualifying as an Occupational Therapist with a First-Class Honours degree from Canterbury Christ Church University in 2020, I’ve worked across both Community Mental Health and In-Patient Forensic Services. These experiences have deepened my belief that therapy should empower people to engage in the activities that bring meaning, purpose, and confidence to their lives.
I’m passionate about supporting people to reconnect with what makes them feel grounded and fulfilled. Horses have been a part of my life since childhood, and combining that lifelong love with therapy has been incredibly rewarding. Through equine-assisted approaches and sensory integration techniques, I help people build self-confidence, emotional regulation, and motivation in ways that feel natural and nurturing. My additional training in Sensory Integration and Sensory Inclusion Facilitation has strengthened my understanding of how our sensory experiences shape wellbeing, and I love using this knowledge to support people in practical, creative ways.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and our collection of animals—horses, chickens, sheep, cats, and a dog all make life lively and full of love. I also find balance through yoga, which helps me unwind and stay connected to the calm and mindful approach I bring into my work every day.
