Sensory Integration & Attachment Intervention

Sensory Integration & Sensory Attachment Intervention

We are sensory beings and are constantly processing the sensory world around us. From the bright lights, loud noises and distracting background sounds, we help you by providing vital skills and techniques to focus on the person or situation in front of you.

Sensory integration is a groundbreaking model developed by neuroscientist Jean Ayres in the 1950s. It’s about developing new sensory pathways through new sensory experiences.

At Oak Therapies we use a range of facilities to deliver our sensory integration. Our sensory is focused on creating a nurturing space with low stimulation that supports individual children in accessing sensory interrogation sessions indoors.

In sensory integration, we consider all 8 senses and will develop a sensory diet or intervention plan to suit your individual needs.
