Hi, I’m Jo! Before becoming a Creative Arts Therapist, I spent over 20 years in musical theatre, performing in shows like Mamma Mia and Cats. I still teach dance on weekends, so creativity has always been part of who I am—it was only natural to bring that into therapy.
At Oak Therapies, I use arts and crafts to create calm, reflective spaces where children and adults can process emotions and express themselves. Whether it’s stone painting, journaling, or nature crafts, creativity helps people connect with themselves in unique ways.
Being here is healing for me too. Between the animals, outdoor spaces, and the wonderful team, Oak Therapies feels like a safe place to breathe, create, and grow. It’s a joy to share that space with others.
