I’m Becky, a Systemic Counsellor, and I know firsthand how difficult it can feel to lack confidence as a child. That’s why I’m passionate about helping people overcome their fears, build self-esteem, and feel empowered to live the life they want.
My career has taken me from working in education and welfare to studying social work and counselling, and eventually into roles supporting care leavers, teenagers, and families. Along the way, I’ve worked everywhere from GP surgeries to open prisons—each experience giving me new skills and insights.
What brought me to Oak Therapies was the chance to blend my love of animals with my counselling work. Now, I focus on building trust, safety, and connection in relationships, always guided by sensory attachment approaches. For me, therapy is about helping people feel truly seen and supported.
