Making things better by connecting with nature, ourselves, and each other

A place to grow and flourish

Welcome to Oak Therapies, a space in the Kent countryside where care, creativity, and compassion come together.

We’re a team of HCPC-registered Occupational Therapists and qualified practitioners offering a mix of therapies designed to help people of all ages build confidence, feel supported, and discover new ways to thrive.

Whether in our peaceful outdoor spaces, local schools, or even your own home, we aim to make therapy feel natural, nurturing, and uplifting—never clinical or daunting.

We believe in three simple things: Therapy, Enrichment, & Development.

Think of it as creating a safe space to grow skills, find joy, and build resilience for everyday life.

With nature and animals by our side, we support not just individuals but families too, offering strategies that last long after your session has finished.

Our goal is for you to take what you learn here and use it confidently in everyday life.

Meet Caroline

Hello, I’m Caroline Parfitt, founder and Director of Oak Therapies.

I have worked as a successful independent Occupational Therapist since 2016, and in 2011 I moved into the bungalow with my husband and family, where we developed the property into what it is today.

Oak Therapies got its name from the oak trees that surround the property. They all started as small acorns and grew into beautiful, resilient, reliable, solid structures. I used to sit in the rear field thinking about how symbolic the oak tree was. I wanted to create a safe space where you could grow and develop just like an acorn.
