Caroline Parfitt

Owner and Director

Caroline is an experienced and highly trained Occupational Therapist with an extensive history of working within the health sector. She has worked at forensic hospitals and forensic community settings, specialist and mainstream schools, Kent County Council, Adoption and Outreach services.

Her roles have been varied, ranging from working with adults with high-functioning autism and Asperger’s to also being part of an independent advisory group for Kent police. One of her main strengths is setting up and managing teams. She has developed a range of services managing staff and creating teams of people who care for one another, so that they survive after she has gone.

She is an expert in sensory integration, sensory attachment interventions, eco-sensory therapy and mindfulness, she brings all of these skills together within her sessions and ensures that each intervention is evidenced based and centred around the individual.

Caroline’s passion is equine therapy and is currently studying at Belfast University for her post-grad in AHP Equine therapy. She uses her small herd of horses and ponies therapeutically and sees the benefits they have on her patients. Her passion keeps her focused and driven to help as many people as possible.
